Nursery...almost

So we don't have the nursery "move in" ready, but here are pics of the look we are going for. Modern yet vintage, simple yet having just enough to feel cozy, and of course "girly" without spraying the walls pink.:)

The rug. I actually had this in high-school and it's been at moms forever, must have known. We're probably going to layer a few rugs on top each other to make sure there is plenty of space to crawl around on when she's ready.

Angel wings above the crib. They are the ones in the halloween pics below. We're playing with different textures of a simple palate (white and grey) with the exception of the colorful bedding and accent pieces. We're also getting miniature angel wings and putting them in clear boxes for the wall art. 

White velvet curtains. So beautiful and cozy. 

Storage boxes for the shelves. We're not doing a "dresser" because I want something I can keep forever, and that I can do so much with. So with the closet, shelves (below), and cute storage boxes it'll be perfect. I can also showcase all the cute handmade items that I have begun collecting for her. FYI- great time to handmade items as holiday bizarres have so many cute items for totally inexpensive. 

Plain white shelves... timeless and modern. 

Mom is making Jax's bedding. This print will be on one side, and the other is a chocolate brown with the leaves. Love the feminine quality, while having an organic and modern look... and I'm a freak about these "love birds." Anything with wings I love!

The crib!!! It's called the Sparrow crib too. 

The rocker. Some say it's crazy, but I so love and just will not settle on this one. 

OH... and we just got a 8 light white chandelier, it's got a ton of crystals and freaking feathers on it. So cute!
