Dr's appointments

What I love most about going to the Dr. is hearing Matt's response when we here Jax's heartbeat... "it's so surreal" "that's awesome" "that's crazy" or a common one, "woa." My Dr. then responds with a strange look, as if she's wondering just how old we really are. What is even more funny is the first time we heard the heartbeat and made a huge deal out of it. When the Dr. put the tool to my stomach he stated, "oh, I thought we were going to hear Jess's." Lol!
OMG.. I almost forgot. So were in the exam room today, and he goes "I really like that lamp!" It was the freaking lamp they use for paps. I almost lost it. It really did not compare to the first appt. though when the Dr. handed Matt a pad and one of those wipe things after the exam and was like "keep these for her, she may need them later." I swear, all boundaries and dignity has been lost.
I swear, I think seeing Matt respond to this whole process is one of the most amusing and innocent things ever! They really need to have a book about the male perspective on this, because it's just so so funny.:)

P.S. Ultrasound results were perfect and the due date of March 23 still stands.

LOL!!! You two are too funny! I'm so glad you kids were born when men weren't in the office and barely there in the delivery room! I can't believe how brave you both are to be in there together! Just practice for the grand finale' in March! xoxo
