Anyways, we got there and it really was not that bad. Matt and I were all ready with our pillows and lose fitting clothes on (like were training for the Olympics, because that's just how I see it... I'm like "Matt it's time to put our head in the game." Totally dorky.) thinking that we're going to... I don't really know what I thought we were going to do, but I expected some type of "whoo whoo hee" and stretching in between, but no... just the cervix and placenta talk. To top it off the group was a bit boring. However, like a true overachiever grad. student, Matt and I were the first to volunteer to introduce ourself, first to tell the first dumb joke, and oh, I'm bringing the snack next week! :)

Birthing class
O- M- G! So I was hyperventilating all day. It really took me by surprise because I'm usually so calm, but I was totally freaking out.... all day. I worked in the morning, worked out with mom, and had to stay at my moms before the remainder of the evening because I just could not have any idle time. It just was the whole "for real" thing. I mean it's been a blessing that I have not gone crazy reading about labor, you know just taking it week by week, but now it's all at once! All this information about bodily fluids, and cervix's, and placenta's. You know I thought the baby was in the placenta, like a sack that had the baby in the middle. It's because when I was little I saw calfs born in a sac like thing, and I was like "oh, so that's a placenta." I'm just so thankful that I have a great sense of humor.
